We’d like to introduce you to Russ Meade, Founder of Operation Freedom Ballot.

Russ enlisted in the United States Marine Corps out of high school and served from 1988-1996 in the following capacities: Communications, Public Affairs and Infantry.

In 2004, Russ enlisted again and volunteered to deploy to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom III. He deployed to Fallujah with the II Marine Expeditionary Force in January 2005.

Russ is married to Ashley Speagle Meade and they have three teenage children; listed from oldest to youngest, they are Jake, Lily and Anna.

In addition to his service as a Marine, Russ graduated with a degree in marketing from Lenoir Rhyne College where he played varsity football. He is currently the Vice President of Sales for Piedmont Vending and the Chief Military Advisor for Covert Threads.
